Crack open the mysteries of how amphibians and reptiles see as we examine how our eyes are different from the rest of the animal kingdom. Did you know reptiles see ultraviolet light? What about infrared? They see things humans can not…lets figure out what. Explorers will be in the exhibit studying special features of amphibians and reptiles sight, in the classroom exploring animal features and even dissect an animal eye!
Burpee Museum is currently features the special exhibit, of live reptiles and amphibians and is home to many exquisite specimens of living amphibians and reptiles. Students have the opportunity to be in the exhibit and examine special items form permanent collections.
Classes are o the 2nd Saturdays @ 1-2:30
For ages 6 and UP. Adult participation is encouraged but not required.
