Megalodon: Largest Shark that Ever Lived

For the first time ever in the Midwest comes Megalodon: Largest Shark that Ever Lived. This consuming exhibit will open at Burpee Museum of Natural History on February 1, 2014 but will only be here until April 29, 2014!

When you visit Burpee Museum to check out Megalodon: Largest Shark that Ever Lived you will learn more than you though possible about this enormous prehistoric shark. How big was the largest shark? How long did it live? What did it eat? These are just a few of the questions that will be answered when you enter the exhibit hall and explore the 60-foot-walk-through Megalodon sculpture.

Some of the other features awaiting you at the exhibit are fossil specimens, full-scale shark models, interactives, artifacts, and even items from the museum's own collections! This exhibit is like nothing the Midwest has ever seen before- Don't miss your chance to experience it!
