GRAND OPENING of Treasure! a traveling exhibit in the Woodward Hall, through Labor Day.

What is Treasure? Who hunts for treasure? How do people hunt for treasure? The science, technology, history and thrill of treasure hunting are explored in the fantastic traveling exhibit Treasure! The exhibit will feature 5,000 square feet of artifacts, hands-on activities, videos, biographies, and tales from around the world. Try the tools of treasure hunting and investigate treasure. See actual artifacts from shipwrecks and other treasure sites. This exhibit is a joint project of Burpee Museum and the Discovery Center.

Treasure in the Twilight: For teens and adults

Living Treasure! Meet the Birds of Prey from RPD Atwood and take the opportunity to see some of the “hidden treasures” from Burpee’s permanent Collection. The Museum will be open for exploration.

Homer's Odyssey: From the Badlands to Burpee GRAND OPENING!

Join us as we unveil the much anticipated Homer's Odyssey exhibit at Burpee Museum. Homer's Odyssey is the product of more than eight years of work - from the discovery of the first bones in the badlands near Ekalaka, Montana, to the preparation and reconstruction of the fossils in the lab, and finally the development of a new, permanent exhibit.      Homer, Burpee's "teen-aged" Triceratops, is ready for his story to be told.
